Are you feeling unhappy with your dermal filler results?

Here at The English Beauty Aesthetics, there is a solution! Corrective procedures.

Occasionally dermal fillers do not turn out how you would like them and need to be dissolved when the treatment outcome is unacceptable or even when an adverse reaction to the implant has occurred. In these instances, you may choose to have them dissolved. Hyalase® is an enzyme which breaks down hyaluronic acid fillers. The treatment is administered by injection, topical anaesthetic can be used to numb the skin. The treatment works very quickly. Though often 1-3 treatments are required and will be reflected within the cost. There is a risk of allergy, and this treatment must be performed in a clinic where the practitioners are trained to deal with severe allergies. A test patch is ALWAYS required 20 minutes before the procedure commences.

Potential complications when Dissolving Filler:

 Pain

 Bruising

 Allergy

 Infection

Triggering cold sores, shingles or other pre-existing skin problems

 Pigmentation of the skin

To reduce the risk of a significant allergic reaction, we carry out a patch-test prior to treating with Hyalase®. This is done by injection a small amount on the skin of the inner forearm. If there is any redness, swelling or itching after 20 minutes, it means that you are allergic to Hyalase® and your practitioner will discuss the alternatives with you.
